Marc Rigueur the owner and operator of CYBS Accountants & Tax Specialists (CYBS), a firm that specialize in individual and business Accounting, Taxation and Consulting services. Marc uses his 20 years of experience to assist individuals as well as businesses in dealing with various accounting and tax matters, including Planning, Compliance, Tax Audits, Tax Debt Negotiation and Resolutions. The firm is also involved in consulting, assisting and training clients with Bookkeeping Systems, Accounting Methods and Business Transactions, and Internal Controls.

Prior to joining and then acquiring CYBS, Marc worked in both the public and private sectors. He started his career in public accounting, working for regional firms, gaining extensive experience in auditing and taxation, across a number of industries. Thereafter, he was recruited by a mid-sized, multi-subsidiary company in the financial services industry, where he held the position of Controller, and later Treasurer, thus gaining first-hand knowledge and experience in the management of several operating companies. As Controller, he not only managed the accounting, payroll, and tax departments, but also managed the quality and control functions of various companies.

Marc is a graduate of St. John’s University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is registered with the IRS and licensed as an Enrolled Agent (EA). He is currently a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers (NATP).

Outside of the accounting world, Marc is a member of the Freeport-Merrick Rotary Club (Rotary International). As a board member of the club, he does his part to operate by Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self” in life and in business.
